Borosilicate glass is the industry-standard glass for heat resistant applications. Standard for laboratory glassware and high-end kitchen utensils, this is also the glass that glass-specialists recommend for 3D printer purposes. Our glass is a hefty 4 mm thick, and it also has softened edges to prevent accidental abrasions. Sized at 250 mm x 320 mm, this fits our Bed Heater, 240 mm x 310 mm Kapton.
This batch of glass was received from our supplier slightly warped. Most sheets are roughly between .005-.015" (.127-.4mm) out of flat, though the exact flatness of these sheets is not guaranteed. Most are well within the tolerances required for higher-layer height prints, or can be cut down into smaller sections for use on a Prusa or similar printer and will generally be flat enough for even lower layer heights. Because these sheets do not meet our standard quality tolerances we are offering them for 50% off the normal price while supplies last! Sold AS IS.
